We are delighted to announce the launch of The Len Messenger Award.
The Len Messenger Award is to be presented to a candidate who in the opinion of the Board has made an outstanding contribution to the execution or practice of Marine Warranty Surveying throughout the previous year.
Our organization owes a debt of thanks to Len Messenger, who as head of the Survey and Engineering sub-committee of the Joint Rig Committee, in 2002 reached out to the MWS community challenging us to come together and form an association of Marine Warranty Surveyors. Len was one of our founding members back in 2002.
I would encourage that all the MWS community look through project executions and engagements over the past year and highlight candidates that can be considered worthy of the award.

Nominations are open until 31st March 2024, after which, all nominations will be reviewed by the board. The winner will be announced at our seminar and dinner, Forward, Stronger, Together to be held on the 15th May 2024. Tickets for the seminar and dinner can be purchased here.
