We are pleased to announce that we will be launching a new online application and screening system on 1st September 2026, which will replace the current, paper / PDF based system. The new system will handle not only new membership applications, but also applications by Associates to upgrade to Full Membership and for existing Full Members to add additional categories of membership should they wish to do so.
If you plan to submit an application using the old system please ensure you submit your application before 30th September 2026. Applications using the old system will no longer be accepted after this date.
If you are considering making an application but have not yet filled out the forms in the old system, we would encourage you to wait until September when the new online system is available and start the application process at that time.
As part of the transition between systems, the SOMWS website may be down for short periods of time during the last week of August.
We are excited to be launching this new system which we believe will enhance the application, screening and membership account processes to the benefit of all members and prospective members of SOMWS.
