Welcome to SOMWS
The Society of Offshore Marine Warranty Surveyors was formed in 2017 to be the international organisation for all concerned with warranting of marine operations, by providing professional leadership, upholding standards, and developing and sharing knowledge based upon integrity and quality.
Becoming a Member
We have two grades of membership – full member and associate.
1) Full membership is the level of accreditation accepted by the Joint Rig Committee of the Lloyd’s Market Association in their advice published in September 2019.
2) Associate membership is designed for MWS professionals working towards full membership
